Additionally representing the nation and serving as team captain was his son, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. The 16th of March 1910 saw the birth of IAK Pataudi, who passed away in 1952.

IAK Pataudi played in 6 Tests throughout his cricket career, 3 for India and 3 for England. He served as a professional for the English cricket team between 1932 and 1934. He later led the Indian team in three Test matches against the squad he had previously played for during the 1946 tour of England.


IAK Pataudi scored 199 runs, averaging 20 per inning, in 10 innings in a Test match. In his career, he amassed one century. He has extensive experience playing first-class cricket, as well. 8750 runs were scored by him in 127 games, averaging 48.60 runs per game. At that time, he had 29 centuries in first-class cricket.
